It was a great evening.
I met the boys at the Stadium where we had our now traditional tailgate party. It was made all the more special in that it was Logan's birthday. So Brad brought birthday cupcakes.
Logan knew that he was going to get spoiled at the game, Mini Donuts, Truck Horn and the ever coveted but rarely seen bottle of Pepsi. Big Day when you're 9.
Brad and I had contacted the Bomber office, paid $50 to get his birthday announced on screen, but they didn't tell us when it would happen. So I was so nervous Logan would be out for a pee when it happened.
Thankfully that wasn't the case.
Our whole section (who are all friends who've we been going to games with for the last 10 years or so) sang him Happy Birthday. He was pretty embarrassed, but at the same time, you could see the corners of his mouth curling up. He was really happy.
We even managed to sneak in another showing at 7 pm. Score!
- Appointments made - 15 ** including one today booked so far
- Open House Attendees - approx 40 (but there are likely a lot of couples too, so let's say 20 showings)
- Repeats - 4
Total - approx 31 showings in 7 days.
and then... Tomorrow is the day! Never been so excited for a Wednesday in my entire life.
