Everybody's judged

Today was judgment day for that ticket

Walked over to Provincial Court today to go before the magistrate.  For whatever reason (the nature of the ticket maybe), I couldn't dispute it with the magistrate I had to go before a judge.

DUN. DUN. DUN. ** supposed to be dramatic musical overtone...

Went before the judge (while willing my knees to stop shaking).  Explained my case, disputed elements of the reporting officers comments.

Judge was amazing actually. Listened to my statements and decided that given the situation a reprimand was more appropriate and so my $300 ticket was reduced to $70.

That leaves me $270 extra to pay for a contractor to fix the house.

Awesome.  Really quite pleased with how it all turned out.
