That was seriously insane

So up until yesterday I thought Zach's teacher was collecting $50 for school supplies. I found out yesterday that she changed her mind this year and decided to have the parents buy the supplies.

Oh, awesome. Thanks for the heads up.  So, I had to go to Walmart last night to pick up school supplies.  I think it would have been easier to find a bottle of water in New Orleans after Katrina hit.

The aisles were lined with empty bins, people EVERYWHERE, carts crashing into eachother... and to make matters worse, they didn't have a 1/4 of what I needed.  I knew I was in touble when I couldn't even find a pencil sharpener.

Walmart even had security working the front doors. It was worse than Christmas!

So since I find out about this at the last effing possible minute, I know have to go to Staples on my lunch hour tomorrow and hope that I can find the rest of the crap that I need.

The thing that annoys me is that we still have to write a cheque for $25 over and above the boat load of crap we have to buy.  Logan's class is way better because we write a cheque for $50 and we are DONE.

Wish me luck.
