T.G.I.M (Thank G*D it's Monday)

My weekends are crazy. So freaking busy.

Friday night was awesome! My new shirts arrived!!! Shirt #1 above.
Saturday was swimming lessons, then diving lessons, then we took Logan to his buddy Mikias' birthday party. I picked Logan up from that, dropped him back off at home with Brad, then picked up Zach and took him to theatre class.

Logan and Mikias

When theatre was done, I dropped Zach back off at home and then Logan and I went out and got him a halloween costume - he's decided to go as a ninja.

Sunday was hockey, Logan at 9 am, Zach at 10 am. The coach comes over to us as Logan was skating and tells us he is going to bump him into the next age group as he is at a higher skill lever than some of the other kids. So awesome!

That means we will get to sleep in and then BOTH boys will skate at 10 am.... wait for it...

When Zach was skating, the coach came over and said that he would like to bump Zach up into the Intermediate hockey group - they practice at 4:45pm. So Zach finished out that practice, came home, worked with Brad in the backyard and then we all went back for practice #2 at 4:45.

Plus, in between all that I made a rainbow cake, oatmeal muffins, Peanut Butter and jelly muffins, Lasagna, Date Square, Oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, pinwheel cookies, Banana Dips ( frozen bananas dipped in chocolate and rolled in coconut)....  The muffins are for Brad for breakfast and the cookies for kids lunches.

The rainbow cake (above) was a spur of the moment thing.  Vanilla cake separated into 4 batches and tinted, yellow, red, green and blue.

Very messy, but the boys loved it.  Zach doesn't really have a sweet tooth, so he had a bite and some icing. He likes the idea of baking rather than eating.  Logan on the other hand loves sweets, so we have to watch him a bit more.

All in all a lovely weekend. After the boys had their showers and were in bed, Brad and I sat down on the couch together and let out a huge collective sigh.  We were tired.

Two weeks today I leave for VEGAS!!!!!!!
